I love coming in to this place when it's open for a small treat but I was so dissapointed with the Scottish Tablet. I thought it had a strange taste and an overly 'damp' texture. When I looked closer at it there was tiny, little green spores on it 😬.. and my family have been making Scottish Tablet for decades if not over 100 years so I'm quite the connoisseur. My intuition is that the product has been in there for some time 😐 (which is not good for products containing dairy) I'd highly reccomend this place review the dating stickers on their products, get rid of stock that's not fit for consumption (no one wants to eat bacteria that shouldn't be there) or invest in more air tight containers based on product ingredients...It's kind of put me off.
