A lovely pub, very busy when I popped in with my dog which is always a good sign. The beer was great and with the log fire going, was a proper country pub vibe. Definitely recommend a visit

We popped in as we were driving past and this pub was a really nice resting place on the drive home. The prices were great, very friendly staff, nice locals with lovely, well behaved children. We had the roast batch (or whatever you call it lol) with amazing gravy and roast potatoes. I’d definitely return if I happened to drive by again 😊

A great pub with a selection of beer and cider. They have different food truck that visit and that's a nice touch to what they offer. Nice spacious garden and dog friendly. The bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. Ample parking available also.

I had my 60th birthday on 1st July . My wife organised it with nick and it was absolutely brilliant. We had a karaoke by Tom which was great . The food from Sadlergate catering , which was fantastic . Everyone said the beer was great , The atmosphere was fantastic . ❤️

Great dog friendly pub. They don't really do food but do have special nights where they have pizza ovens or bbq's. They also have a order off a takeaway menu and they'll serve it to you when it arrives on plates and do all the washing up after. Highly recommended pub.

A very friendly pub with a great relaxed and happy atmosphere and welcoming staff. There is plenty of parking and designated spaces for disabled people. The seats are comfy. I highly recommend the Fisherman's Rest for a very enjoyable evening. The photo is of a performer at one of the pub's Stagefright nights.

Love the Fisherman's rest. Whether it's to call in for a pint after a cycle ride, a walk out for a beer with the dog or (as tonight) a meal (pizzas are Scrummy). There's always a warm welcome...
