Amazing place! Went in with 2 watches repair to repair, excellent and friendly service. Both watches fixed in about 10mins and a VERY reasonable price. Great range of products on offer too.

Absolutely stunning workmanship, highly recommended! The 'in house' jeweller altered the size and replated a wedding ring for me that had broken, so happy with the results. Thank you. Additionally, the shop in itself is well worth a visit, so many lovely things to gift. I will be back for future birthday and xmas presents.

Bought a wrist watch from the shop recently and took it back to have the bracelet loosened. During my chat with Maxine, I expressed my dissatisfaction with my choice because I found the day/date display distracting and wished I had thought of that before purchasing it. To get to the point, today, I ended up with a replacement for my bad choice and a bracelet fitted because I did't want the supplied leather strap, and all without having to pay anything extra. Maxine and her colleague (name unknown) were not only most helpful, but provided a standard of service I very rarely see these days.

Frearsons is my go to place when I need watch batteries and straps. The staff are always friendly and polite. A good local trader.

Very disappointed with this watch repair business. I took a Seiko watch in for repair on the 18 Nov 2014 and was asked to pay £2 postage to have it sent to their local repairer for an estimate. On checking the receipts later I found that I had been charged twice for the postage. I was informed that the shop would phone the following Saturday to let me know what the cost of repairs would be... no phone call was received and I ended up having to telephone them. I was told by a male person that the watch had water inside and needed to go to Seiko UK for repair. I told him to go ahead and send the watch to Seiko. Again I was informed they would contact me once they had an estimate of the cost. They phoned me on the 16 Dec 2014 saying Seiko want £10 before they will look at the watch. I have told Freasons to forget it because their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I am going to collect the watch and take it to a more professional establishment for repair. From my experience I would not recommend Freasons to anyone.
