Lovely staff, plenty of facilities and easy to park. Getting tired but would have been a huge loss had it closed down permanently.

Did an indoor car boot there today, very well organised and everyone concerned with the running of the event were very helpful and friendly, would certainly go again and highly recommend a visit.👍

I use the leisure center for the spa only. Sadly, the Jacuzzi is being removed, and I have also been told the sauna is being removed. It will only have the steam room, and that is disgusting inside. Although mobile phones are banned the staff ignore this so be prepared to have your photo taken. Fortunately, I am in my 70s, so I will stop going when the sauna is removed.

If you want to use a spa when grown men openly use their mobile phones despite them being not allowed according to the rules then this is the place to come. Wear sandals or risk disease. The mens toilets were out of order as were the lights and showers and jacuzzi. Try not to look at the floor in the steam room. You may feel sick. Bubbles spa in Derby is cleaner than this dive.

A brilliant leisure centre with a brilliant array of classes, a warm and clean pool, and a well equipped gym. Staff are friendly and good with direction. Was referred here through the Live Well scheme via my GP and I'm really glad I was. Making that first step can be difficult but Anita made me feel very welcome!

Love coming here. The staff are very friendly. The only minor issue I got is that I wish there were more public swimming 🏊♂️ sessions available for the general public, especially in the mornings and midday times. The swimming pool is in partnership with local schools, so I am aware the school has classes run during the day for students. I understand young people need to learn how to swim at some point. But I struggle to get late morning or midday public swimming sessions as they close the pool off for private use. I love ❤️ visiting this place. But I wish BLC would update some of the facilities...for example, the soundwave therapy chair needs renewing to a better quality one. And the health suite shower and changing rooms could do with air conditioning. It is a great 👍 place to go and attend. But I think BLC needs more finances to update their facilities and bring it up to the modern day.

A hidden gem. We book badminton and squash courts regularly with our children. It is great centre for family activities and the pool is great to use during the day. They also have lots of clubs which seem friendly to join.
