If you want a chilled out atmosphere, friendly staff and good music at the right volume to hear it and still be able to talk. Plus and really good selection of drinks then I'd recommend the Belper House. It's always our go to when we head for a pint in Belper.

A brilliant addition to Belpers thriving micropub and real ale establishments. Situated a stones throw from the market place, it's a quality boozer. Great choice of drinks. In short, a find❤️. Enjoy. M

A cosy pub, with a friendly atmosphere. Nice gin and tonics. Central location for the town/market place.

Brilliant little bar, with a great selection of real ales and ciders and a great choice of different gins. The cheese board is also amazing too

New craft beer pub in Belper which wasn't there yet during my previous visit in 2019. Simple décor, the focus is entirely on craft cask & keg beers. Limited food selection (and the usual nibbles) available. Moderate prices, friendly staff. You can always sample the beers first. Like many newer establishments, card payment only (My next monthly bank statement will be a mile long). Fairly far up the hill in Belper centre, recommended!

Absolutely cracking micropub at the top end of Belper town centre!
Meghan the Assistant Manager is lovely, she's a real credit to this business! I just wish all staff at bars and restaurants made you feel as welcome as this place! We'll definitely be returning again soon! 😊
Bye for now!

Great atmosphere and good selection of craft ales. Plenty of seating inside and outside for quite a compact premises. The staff are friendly and attentive. All in all well worth popping in for a few pints if you are passing.

Fairly small micropub; however, the range of drinks is impressive.
Exceptionally well kept cask, the cellar must be perfect in terms of conditions, I've had very few beers in such outstanding condition.
Nice range of keg, nothing particularly exceptional, but still dependable and reliable examples.
Some good bar snacks were available, pork pies, olives, nuts etc.
Really useful gin menu with some nice small batch Derbyshire gins on offer alongside the usual bigger brands.
Outstanding job with the design of the place, clean and contemporary but retains the buildings history.
Also the two young people behind the bar were polite, friendly and professional.
